Meet Gill Reid, incoming RSC president, inorganic chemistry whizz and fervent supporter of young people in the chemical sciences

Gill Reid is head of functional inorganic, materials and supramolecular chemistry research at the University of Southampton and Royal Society of Chemistry president from July 2022. She’s also a fervent supporter of young people in the chemical sciences, an admirer of science teachers and Dorothy Hodgkin alike, and a knitter of Icelandic jumpers. She shares more about her career, plus her hopes and dreams for the chemical sciences and diversity in this Q&A interview.
