Use these tips and activities to link UN sustainable development goal 8 to lessons on fermentation and bioethanol

Many of the UN’s sustainable development goals are relevant to chemistry teaching. Goal 8 – promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all – can fit into your lessons on fermentation and bioethanol. This article gives ideas for relevant context and suggests resources and activities to include the goal within your teaching.
